Expowestrans was launched in 1989 as a dedicated company and was appointed sole official freight forwarding agent for Russia’s (the USSR back then) prime exhibition organizer Expocentre Fairgrounds. With experienced logistics professionals on staff we have grown into a leader of the sector ready to provide total logistics solutions at our principal venue – Expocentre Fairgrounds — and other national and international event venues. With a global network of industry-leading partners we can give our customers peace of mind that their exhibition cargo will be handled professionally, no matter where they are exhibiting.

The services we offer span freight transportation, customs clearance formalities, warehousing and storage, complex load handling and lifting operations, and legal and insurance services. Leveraging our vast expertise in managing logistics of major national and international trade exhibitions and conferences, we have expanded our services to include live and cultural event shipping, art shipping and management of theatre and circus tours.

Also, Expowestrans has joined leading Russian and international industry associations, including the International Exhibition Logistics Association (IELA), which enhanced our capabilities to deliver the highest standard of service to our customers and promote excellence across the industry.

Our strong reputation among our partners and clients is reflected in our numerous appointments — every year Expowestrans handles over 100 trade exhibitions and meeting events at Expocentre Fairgrounds (total show floor of the events making up some 600 000 sqm), we are involved in more than 20 events at other national and overseas venues, manage up to 150 shipments for special projects worldwide, and, for 25 years in a row, we have been an official freight forwarding contractor of the Moscow International Aviation and Space Salon (the town of Zhukovsky, Moscow Region).

We are very proud that our commitment to excellent standards of customer service has been marked by numerous national and international business awards and diplomas, and Expowestrans was listed among the top freight forwarding businesses in the 2017 National Business Ranking powered by The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The current Director General of the company is Aleksei Levitsky (PhD in Business Administration).

From 1982 to 1997 he was an engineer at the Transexpo Company of Expocentre VO, Technical Director and Deputy Director at Expowestrans TOO MSP.

Since 1997, he has been Director General of Expowestrans.

He is a member of RUEF Board. He is a Companion of the Order of Friendship (1998).
